Irc -channel

To ease the communication out of game I have created an irc -channel for our clan. It's in Quakenet channel #DAFS.

The computer of my friend got screwed because he used an IRC-channel, the security of an IRC-channel is very low, so it makes you vurnable to "attackers".

Been using irc for ten years. Never had any attacks. So it's not likely on a private channel like ours.

i used to use IRC years ago when i used to play an online text based game called mechwars and another called nukezone
never had any troubles with it but forgot how to use the damn thing now

IRC is nice oldie but goodie but I just now noticed you can have custom group chats in steam too so it's not that important really. But if anyone else is interested we could start using it.

what we need is a voice chat that we can incorporate ingame, no use chatting ingame if the opposing team can hear everything we say

yes i think were getting a teamspeak or ventrillo with the server

I hear we are getting teamspeak server soon, so that will solve our voice problems.
