YAY! But i won't be using that bat, i need double jumps. Maybe in matches one scout has it and one doesn't for better tricks and tactics, It will be fun of CTF stopping the carrier

we dont know if you lose double jump when you have it in your inventory or when u r walking wiht it

dave and me were talking about it last night and we thought it must be when you have it in inventory or it wouldnt be that much of a disadvantage, cos you run with other weapons, then swop to bat, then swop back to weapons to get your double jump, which is easy if you got quick change on.

Exactly, So maybe he has faster running shoes/further double jumps but can't carry as much ammo or something i don't know, i'm very tired.

I think that map is the new game mode!!! Its symmetrical, and its got two different coloured tracks! Maybe its the first to get to the top payload or something!
OMG! and if you look carefully enough you see 2 payloads!
*EDIT* Didnt realise dave saw this first, he said to me "DAFS| Dave: seen the new tf2 map maybe gamemode variation?", and i didnt read til after i wrote this (finishing off mirrors edge, a very good game btw)

Although if you read carefully

Classes with the ability to ascend rapidly (Soldiers, Demomen, and Scouts using the new scattergun unlockable ) have lots of options for traversing the arenas.

If you see it says scouts using the new scattergun why include that unless it increases jump height or speed, eh?

Maybe this scattergun does something similar to the rocket launcher, and if it does, you canhave that gun and the sandman, and it wont be like missing the double jump!

Yeah, they've updated the achievments page with the descriptions, and we find that:
Fall Classic: Cause an environmental death or suicide using the Force-A-Nature's knockback.

Presumably this must be the new scattergun. It will therefore have a knockback feature, probably to both you and the enemy, allowing you to boost your jumps with it one would imagine.
